Young Elvis Presley Art Collage

This is much more recent, from June 2012.

I took a photo of my original acrylic painting, then digitally created multiple versions of it, and combined these three into a single collage. Love the vibrant colors and textures in this one. I hope you do too!



I've always been captivated by the spirit of rock and roll that was birthed in the mid 1950s -- especially when Elvis was young. I'll be doing a lot more pieces of The King :)

Marilyn Monroe artwork painting

I created this image of Marilyn Monroe back in 1998 and just uncovered it recently while going through some old paintings.

Acrylic paint and colored pencil on paper.


My style has changed since then, but I still love the vibrant colors of this one. What do you think?

Courtney Love painting

I painted this picture of Courtney Love around '97, based on a photo of her that appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in 1994. I always liked the loose brush strokes and color of this one. What do you think?
